Divine strike allows the Paladin to call upon the divine power of her patron to decimate her foe. When successfully cast, the target is surrounded by a damaging sacred force, and may additionally be forced to kneel. Divine Strike also forces the target into roundtime.
Lore benefits
Training in Spiritual Lore, Religion increases the overall chance of forcing the target to kneel by 2% per rank, with a maximum bonus of 50% gained at 25 ranks.
Deity-Specific Damage
Divine Strike and the multi-target version Judgment (1630) inflict critical damage based upon the paladin's patron. The below tables specify the type of critical damage favored by each of the Gods. The Cleric spells Divine Fury (317) and Divine Wrath (319) share this critical chart.
Deity-Specific Messaging
In addition to type of flares received, flavor messages for Divine Strike are deity based and differ from those of Judgment (1630).
