At the order of Lady Athalia Malwind, Vornavis sends shipments of aid north to the Landing and the Barony, only to be threatened by Mother for Vornavian generosity. |

The Starseeker is subsequently engaged by a pirate ship and forced to call off the search for Sayilla. One of the pirates is captured and taken back to Vornavis for questioning. |
